Before you can use GolfApp, you'll need an account. This only takes a moment, and you have a few options depending on how you're joining.

GolfApp sign-in screen showing Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, and Enter GAID options

Option 1: Sign in with Apple or Google

This is the fastest way to get started.

If you choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google:

  • There's no separate sign-up step
  • Signing in automatically creates your account the first time
  • Future sign-ins use the same button

If you've already used Apple or Google with GolfApp before, just sign in again using the same method.

Option 2: Sign in with email and password

If you prefer email and password, there's one extra step.

  1. Choose Email
  2. Create your account with an email address and password
  3. After that, you'll use the same email and password to sign in

Unlike Apple or Google, email sign-in requires creating the account first.

Option 3: Enter a GAID (GolfApp ID)

In some cases, your account may already exist.

If a commissioner, organizer, or club admin created an account for you, they may have shared a GAID with you.

On the sign-in screen:

  • Enter your GAID instead of signing up or signing in
  • You'll be logged in automatically
  • Any rounds or games created for you will already be there

You can learn more about GAIDs in the separate article: What is a GAID?

A few helpful notes

  • You must be signed in to use GolfApp
  • If your account was created for you ahead of time, entering your GAID claims that account
  • If you ever get stuck on the sign-in screen, try a different method you may have used previously

What's next?

Once you're signed in, you can:

  • Create or join rounds
  • Accept invitations
  • Add games
  • Start entering scores

If you're joining a round for the first time, head to Creating your first round next.
