When you enter a score in GolfApp, a checkmark appears confirming it was saved successfully to the server. If you're seeing checkmarks, everything is working as expected.

If you're not seeing checkmarks

Don't worry — your scores aren't lost. GolfApp saves scores to your device cache first, then syncs them to the server the next time you're back online. Your data is safe even without a connection.

That said, other golfers in the round won't see updates until the sync completes, so it's worth getting back online when you can.

Things to try

If you're consistently having trouble with scores not updating:

  1. Check your connection — make sure you have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage. Some courses have spotty signal, especially in valleys or wooded areas
  2. Force quit the app — close GolfApp completely and reopen it
  3. Disconnect from VPNs — VPN connections can sometimes interfere with the app's ability to reach the server
  4. Contact support — if none of the above helps, reach out to our support team and we'll sort it out
