Scoring in GolfApp is designed to be fast. Tap in each golfer's score, and the app advances to the next golfer automatically. No extra buttons, no wasted time.

Getting to the scorecard

  1. Go to the Action tab
  2. Find your round under Rounds
  3. Tap the arrow to open it

You can also tap the round banner on the Home tab if one is showing.

Entering scores

Once you're in the round, tap a golfer's score field to start entering. Scores auto-advance by default — so if you're entering for four golfers, just tap each score in order:

4 – 4 – 5 – 3, then move to the next hole.

There's no need to tap "next" or select each golfer individually. The app moves down the list for you.

How saving works

Each score is saved the moment you enter it. You'll see a checkmark appear confirming the score has been written to the database.

This means:

  • Scores are saved instantly — no need to hit a save button
  • Other golfers in the round can see updates in real time
  • If you close the app mid-round, nothing is lost

Tip: If you need to fix a score you already entered, just tap the score to change it. See How to fix a scoring mistake for more.
