GolfApp is an official partner of the USGA GHIN system through the Golf Provider Alliance (GPA) program. The integration is under active improvement in early 2026, but everything available today works as intended.
Basic integration
To get started, go to Settings > Handicap and enter your GHIN number. Once saved, two things happen:
- Your home course is added to your profile automatically
- Your latest handicap index is pulled in and applied to any rounds or games you're added to
That's all you need to do. Your handicap stays current without any manual updates.
Advanced integration
If you want to take it a step further and reduce score-entry redundancy across apps, you can enable the advanced integration:
- Go to Settings > Handicap
- Tap Advanced Integration
- Sign in with your GHIN Digital Profile credentials — the same ones you'd use on ghin.com
This unlocks the ability to post your scores directly to GHIN from within GolfApp — no need to open a separate app or re-enter scores elsewhere.
Don't have a GHIN? No problem. You can enter an estimated handicap index instead in Settings > Handicap. It'll be used for any rounds or games you're added to.
