An auto 2-down press opens a new bet the moment somebody falls two holes down. A manual press is the other half of it — any golfer in the match can press at any time, for any amount, on whatever hole they want.

This is the press the way it actually happens on the course. Somebody calls it walking off the green, and now it's tracked properly instead of scribbled on the back of a scorecard.

You'll find your Nassau on the Action tab under Games. Open it to get to the scorecard, and you can press from there.

Starting a manual press

From the Nassau scorecard, tap the column for the hole you want to press on.

That opens the Manual Press window, where there are exactly two things to decide — and you can skip both.

  • Amount — leave it blank and the press uses the default press amount you set during game setup
  • Starting Hole — defaults to the hole you tapped

Tap Create and the press is live. It shows up on the scorecard as its own line, running alongside the original bet, and it gets settled with everything else at the end of the round.

Tip: If you're happy with the default amount and the hole you tapped, a press is two taps — the column, then Create.

Pressing a different hole

Tap Starting Hole to open the list and pick a different one. You can press backward into a hole you've already played or forward onto one you haven't reached yet — useful when somebody called the press two holes ago and nobody entered it.

A hammer icon next to a hole means there's already a press on it. Choose that hole and the window switches from Create to Update, so you can change the existing press instead of stacking a duplicate on top of it.

The only real limit: the round has to still be in progress. Once it's finished and settled, the presses are locked in.

Press as much as you want

There's no cap. Auto 2-down presses and manual presses run side by side, every one of them tracked on its own line from its own starting hole, with its own running result.

The scorecard above is a single Nassau match. Every line is a live bet. GolfApp does the math on all of them and settles the whole thing at the end — and you can stack this on top of any other games in the round, or layer a Mayhem bet over it.
