Your Live Activity follows one game at a time — your primary game. If you're only playing one game, that's the one. If you've stacked up a few, we pick a starting point for you.
How we pick the first one
When a round has several games in it, GolfApp sets the primary game using a default priority order. The general idea: the bigger the game, the higher it ranks.
A multi-team stroke play running across the whole outing beats an individual Nassau inside your foursome. It's the game the most people care about, so it's the one we put on the Lock Screen first.
When the Live Activity first fires, everyone in the round starts on that same game. That's just a starting point, though. It's your phone.
Switching to a different game
Say the group-wide game is fine, but the Wolf match in your cart is the one you're actually sweating. Move it over:
- Go to the Action tab
- Press and hold the tile for the game you want
- Tap Activate Live Activity
That game takes over your Lock Screen from there.
This is a personal setting — it only changes your phone. Your buddy can sit on the team stroke play while you watch the Wolf match, and neither of you affects the other.
Don't see the option? Activate Live Activity only appears on games that aren't already running as your Live Activity. If it's missing from the menu, that game is already the one you're looking at.
Switch as often as you want
Nothing about this is permanent. Front nine belongs to the Skins game, back nine you want to watch the Nassau — hold, tap, done. Scores, results, and payouts all keep tracking in the background for every game either way. The Live Activity only changes what you're looking at.
